The 16 steeplechase fences including the famous ‘Becher’s Brook’ and ‘The Chair’, make Aintree one of the most feared and most difficult racecourses to complete. Set in the picturesque surroundings of Merseyside, the racecourse is also famous for hosting The Topham Chase, The Fox Hunters’ Chase, The Grand Sefton Handicap Chase and The Becher Chase in the December meeting.
